The University of Melbourne, ranked 34th in the world by Times Higher Education, is an Australian public research university situated in Melbourne, Victoria. Founded in 1853, it is the second oldest university of Australia and the oldest university in Melbourne.  The University of Melbourne is ranked 5th worldwide for Education, 8th for Law, 13th for Computer Science & IT, 14th for Dentistry, and 18th for Medicine. The main campus is located in Parkville, near the inner suburbs of the north of the Melbourne, along with many other campuses that are located around Victoria.
