1. Knowledge of the Basics: Many candidates have the tendency to ignore the revision of their basics, and focus upon the other irrelevant topics, but the most important thing in any selection process is going to be knowledge of the basics- that a student has studied throughout his /her college years.

2. Pick and study the favorite subject/topic: Next great thing the interviewer does is to ask about the areas of interest of a candidate. Once the interviewers inquire about the favorite topic, then the next they can expect are the questions related to it. Therefore, the student should be very well prepared about their favorite topic.

3. Aptitude Tests: Maximum elimination begins with the first round of aptitude test. This stage is considered as the most difficult stage during the time of the process of campus placements. Mock interviews are conducted by the best engineering Colleges in India to better prepare the students for the systematic changing. It's better to avoid skipping the harder topics. So skipping them should ensure that the rest of the questions should be well attempted.

4. Written & Spoken English: This is again a very important aspect of any interview and the complete corporate world is dependent upon the communicative English. So to avoid this difficulty, students start working upon their English in the various ways which might contribute to their improvement in the same. Unfortunately, very few people pay attention to this aspect. The communicative skills will remain lifelong with the students and will be beneficial later on in their lives. The most important fact which is to be understood by the students that weaker communication skills will not be entertained the interviewer at all.

5. Interview (Technical): The technical skills of the subject should be on the fingertips of the students. They should be aware of all the recent developments, which have occurred in the fields of specialization. The knowledge about the fields and the recent advancement will be an added advantage for them.

6. Interview Round or The H.R. Round: It occurs at the end of the process of placements and sometimes it results as a very difficult round for the students. Clearing all the round above doesn't assure about the job. The over confident students at the end may face rejection and facing rejection at the end may further shatter a student emotionally. But, it's not the time to lose patience rather they should be optimistic about it and should get busy in preparing for the next series of rounds of placements.

All the above-mentioned tips might be helpful for the students who are very scared about the campus placements and might give them a boost to attend the process of campus placements cheerfully and patiently.

Which college to choose after school?

What exactly forms the basis of us choosing what to do after we are done with our Class 12th boards? Is it wholly marks? Or is it passion? Or is it the persona we carry that is suitable for a particular field? In today’s time, as a student, you’re judged on the basis of your marks. What about extra-curricular activities? Why aren’t they given equal importance as studies? A girl interested in music is told by her parents to concentrate only on studies, a boy having his interest in cricket is denied of coaching so as to concentrate on studies. Scored less than 80% In your 12th? And you’re shunned. The added pressure of scoring well and getting wished in the society only worsens the pressure. Does the world, just drops off if someone is unable to score 90% or let’s say 80%? What exactly is the life after?
Career options aren’t just confined to those who are brainy. Fields such as photography, fashion, sports, hospitality all recruit on the basis of personality or passion. There are many top colleges in India that offer multiple career options to students to choose from. It is the desire of performing that takes the credits here. If you haven’t scored well, don’t let that get on to you so much that you lose the zest and enthusiasm to perform anything further in life, life just doesn’t stop here, it has only begun..

Performing well in the chosen field is all that matters in life. Working hard and with passion for what we do. Thinking of any field as pressure and with performing with strain will only make it even more difficult for us. Fields that haven’t been explored should be considered. So many offbeat courses are provided by many institutions. Some of the common, offbeat courses include Photography, Fashion, HR, Acting, Journalism, Event management, Aviation, Dancing, and Entrepreneurship.

There is no dearth of options available. For instance, IIT Delhi, one of the premier educational institute in India, offers a plethora of courses to choose from. It is the zeal of performance that takes us forward in life. Only three things are required for pursuing them

v  Passion & Interest
v  Skill
v  Confidence

Not in the knowledge of many, but there are universities and colleges that take up on the basis of entrance examinations and your then your rank as per the result. Little R&D is all that it takes, after all it is about our own future's sake. Many known celebrities are school dropouts, dyslexic or not even graduates. Engineering, doctorate, law is what all our doing. One shouldn’t always be in the crowd. Till 12th we are taught subjects not of our choice. But after 12th it is the time to choose what we aspire to be, what we really want to study, what excites us, what catches our eye and mind. It is the time to make the correct choice, our whole career depends on this choice. One must not choose just because they are told so or wanted to, it is us who has to pursue. Well, there’s and always will be some room for discussion with parents.
