Conversely, the growing demands and pressures on parents, lack of resources, and personal career ambitions have also forced many parents to look for perfect schools for their toddlers. Yet, before selecting an institute, a lot of factors have to be thought about and only later, parents can make a decision regarding the best for their child. Top Schools in Gurgaon

School Days are the best days of an individual’s life. It is not an assumption, but a fact. One which cannot be neglected or thought about. You can easily find thousands of individuals, who will rave about their school days, the funny stories, the mischiefs they created and what not? Some will also recount the mistakes made by them, however, it is a time that remains entrenched in our memories for a long time. The significance of school years cannot be discounted, therefore it will be apt to judge and compare various schools on a whole lot of parameters.
Teachers are another important ingredient, determining the success or failure of any institute, be it a school or a college. Therefore, apart from excellent facilities and infrastructure, a school must also possess a core faculty strength, which may attract the best of the talents and ensure their growth. Let’s look at two of the best schools in Delhi NCR and compare their various features.

Amity International School

The school was established as an endeavour between the ‘DPS Society’ and ‘Jaipurias’. Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, the school has been at the forefront of the academic performance at the state and national level. Another factor that plays to the advantage of the school is its location. Located in a prime area, the school can easily attract the best of minds to study and learn new skills. The school has started a “Special Individual Education Programme”, under which it provides extra classes to needed students. The facilities obtainable at the school include a well established library, science laboratories, state of the art computer labs, and an outdoor play field.

These two schools have regularly produced meritorious students, who have gone on to become leaders of their generation and outperformed the others. These schools have not just ensured the academic progress, but also encouraged their students to excel in other activities, ensuring the holistic development. A right mix of first-class instructive facilities and knowledgeable faculty have led to the amazing performance of the school students.Eventually, it is up to the students to perform and excel at all times. Preschool head to head: Comparison of the Best!

The thought of being away from family is good enough for kids to panic! The thought of letting their kids go to school brings nightmares to parents. Yet, the importance of preschool and its role in shaping a child’s skill set cannot be discounted. Attending a high quality preschool program leads to a solid foundation, where a child could prosper. Most preschool are too boastful about the excellent facilities or the teaching methodologies, however, it isn’t easy for parents to find an institute that could really guarantee their child’s progress.
Also, finding a best preschool for your child is a process that needs a lot of time and consideration as ultimately it’s your child’s future that is at stake.

Here is a comparison of two of the best preschools in Delhi NCR where your child could really prosper.

Toddlers Junction School

Toddlers Junction School
Located in the “IT-hub”, the Toddlers Junction school Gurgaon is one of the most promising preschools in Gurgaon. The school is located in one of the most affluent localities in Gurgaon, catering for a vast selection of residential areas. The school aims to provide an enriching experience for the students, whereby, they not only learn academic skills, but their complete skill set is worked upon by the amazing faculties of Toddler’s. Besides that, the school employs a mix of Play-way and Montessori Teaching Methodology, where students learn in a playful environment using latest games and ‘play-way methods’.In terms of facilities, the school boasts of outdoor play areas as well as an indoor gaming zone. Also, the school provides transport facilities and round the clock security of a child. Some other amenities offered by the institute include a microwave, air-conditioned classrooms, refrigerators, ball pools, sand pits, and much more.

Nest Preparatory School

Nest Preparatory School
Established in 2007, the Nest Preparatory School Gurgaon is one of the oldest preschools in Delhi NCR. Known for its state of the art student facilities and infrastructure, the school has made rapid progress across various streams and parameters. Presently, the school has six branches spread across Gurgaon offering multiple centres to parents to choose from. The teaching philosophy at the school caters around three main areas – gross motor development, social development, and creative development of a child. The facilities offered by the school include fully-air-conditioned classrooms with full power backup. Other amenities offered by the school include an audio-visual room, a splash pool, a ball, pool, and a huge library, stashed with latest books ranging on a wide array of topics.

Parenthood is not easy. It brings a new host of challenges, but ultimately it all depends on how we as a parent deal with them. Rediscovering the importance of preschools is particularly important, especially in context with today’s changing scenario, where parents are finding it increasingly difficult to give proper time to their children and help them to attain a certain set of life skills. This is where, the choice of a particular institute is important. This article was a short, but an honest attempt at making this less tiresome and more convenient. Eventually, parents will have to put in a lot of effort and time in finding the best preschool for their child based on their personal list of parameters.

Outside the Classroom

Teaching and learning are inherently spontaneous, when moved out of the classrooms looking the world at large. Putting education into practice is beneficial for the students. When students get out of the boring educational environment of the class they get to learn more while haunting out practically and experiencing in the real world. Often, schools as well as curriculum developers forget the importance of including co-curricular activities along with the usual studies.

Schools should organize field trips for the students for their exposure and better experiences. The phrase field trips bring in mind long bus rides, bag packs, campus, mountains, museum tours, etc. The students create a bond with teachers; this brings improvement between the learning experiences and creates a learning community as students continue forward in the discipline. Take any of the top schools in Delhi NCR or for that matter any part of India; each has included co-curricular activities in their syllabus and some even went to the extent of integrating it in their grading methodology. Teaching in the field brings opportunities that also give a chance to the teachers to know their students more deeply and understand their sentiments well. Practical teachings like such create an understanding and a bond between the teachers and students, which help the teacher understand their students in greater depth in terms of how the students see the world differently. This friendly bond shared between the teachers and students would help them gain more knowledge.

Classroom study does not bring the best out of the students. It keeps the students entangled with limited knowledge and zero exposure and experience. At last what matters is experience, and not classroom education. Take Delhi Public School Dwarka for example. They organize regular field trips and on-site industry interactions to enable and empower their students with the requirements of the changing times. Schools should also organize workshops and seminars regularly for the students to give them practical knowledge and break from regular school classes. Such activities will keep the students involved and interested in the regular school and will keep giving them the good knowledge about their subjects.

Do you remember what you studied in grade, 5th or 6th? What we remember is our experiences and exposures. We only remember our school outings and trips, and not our classroom studies.Students these days are so much involved in latest technologies. With the rapid pace of technology, it is tough to monitor your kids’ exposure to different forms of media. Students are involved in various technologies like computers, mobile phones, PSPs, video games, etc. Students should get out of these technologies and get involved in outdoor games and get involved in games which freshen their mind and keep them active and joyful.

A child should participate in innovative activities, which he/she likes to do, things that interest the child. Children who are interested in sketching and painting should join classes after school to keep themselves busy and have memorable experiences. Those who are interested in singing or dancing should join classes specialized in these and learn their specific style of singing or dancing. Students should get out of classroom teaching and do extracurricular activities and what interests them, so that they have life experience learning. I am not undermining the importance of concentrating on the core subjects that a student studies, however, if integrated with regular courses, the results can be unfathomable. Eventually, any extracurricular activity when integrated with the curriculum, can lead to huge success. All a child need is an honest effort. So basically this article portrays everything a student should and can do other than classroom studying.

Which college to choose after school?

What exactly forms the basis of us choosing what to do after we are done with our Class 12th boards? Is it wholly marks? Or is it passion? Or is it the persona we carry that is suitable for a particular field? In today’s time, as a student, you’re judged on the basis of your marks. What about extra-curricular activities? Why aren’t they given equal importance as studies? A girl interested in music is told by her parents to concentrate only on studies, a boy having his interest in cricket is denied of coaching so as to concentrate on studies. Scored less than 80% In your 12th? And you’re shunned. The added pressure of scoring well and getting wished in the society only worsens the pressure. Does the world, just drops off if someone is unable to score 90% or let’s say 80%? What exactly is the life after?
Career options aren’t just confined to those who are brainy. Fields such as photography, fashion, sports, hospitality all recruit on the basis of personality or passion. There are many top colleges in India that offer multiple career options to students to choose from. It is the desire of performing that takes the credits here. If you haven’t scored well, don’t let that get on to you so much that you lose the zest and enthusiasm to perform anything further in life, life just doesn’t stop here, it has only begun..

Performing well in the chosen field is all that matters in life. Working hard and with passion for what we do. Thinking of any field as pressure and with performing with strain will only make it even more difficult for us. Fields that haven’t been explored should be considered. So many offbeat courses are provided by many institutions. Some of the common, offbeat courses include Photography, Fashion, HR, Acting, Journalism, Event management, Aviation, Dancing, and Entrepreneurship.

There is no dearth of options available. For instance, IIT Delhi, one of the premier educational institute in India, offers a plethora of courses to choose from. It is the zeal of performance that takes us forward in life. Only three things are required for pursuing them

v  Passion & Interest
v  Skill
v  Confidence

Not in the knowledge of many, but there are universities and colleges that take up on the basis of entrance examinations and your then your rank as per the result. Little R&D is all that it takes, after all it is about our own future's sake. Many known celebrities are school dropouts, dyslexic or not even graduates. Engineering, doctorate, law is what all our doing. One shouldn’t always be in the crowd. Till 12th we are taught subjects not of our choice. But after 12th it is the time to choose what we aspire to be, what we really want to study, what excites us, what catches our eye and mind. It is the time to make the correct choice, our whole career depends on this choice. One must not choose just because they are told so or wanted to, it is us who has to pursue. Well, there’s and always will be some room for discussion with parents.

The Importance of Long Term Planning for Students

Do you have dreams? We all have dreams, and to achieve them, we need to keep our dreams in written form and have a focus to achieve them. This focus comes from the hard work and the steps we manage to follow. This includes writing down all the steps to achieve a goal. If we don’t do this our dreams will never be fulfilled and will only remain dreams. What is important is that you have clarity about what you want to achieve as your goal.

While most people start penning down their dreams, however, the problems that many face is the lack of resources. For instance, if you aim to study in one of the best colleges in India or abroad, your primary step should be zero in to the institute and then go for it.

Yes, there will be instances when it will seem like you have hit the wall. It may be lack of money, time, number, or any other resource. This realization may occur when you feel that the resources you posses are not enough to fulfill your dreams. The key solution to this problem is Long Term Planning. For best results it is important to apply a plan properly. Yet, for an individual planning to study in one of the best college in India, no wall is unconquerable. All you need is a strong will and a positive attitude of life.

Short-term plans should be written in the time span of 2 weeks. It should not be written more than 2 weeks before, otherwise the intensity to reach that goal will decrease and your interest will fall off slowly. For example-If you planned to start a new business in 2 months you may end up disappointed then stop trying while if you planned to do it in a year, then you would have found that you achieved your goal in less than the time limit you specified. One of the major benefits of long term planning is that it enables you to totally pay off for lack of resources and even achieve better than people who had those resources but didn’t make a tactical plan.

Another advantage of long term planning over short term planning is that the outcome is much more controllable on a longer term than it is on the short term. Your goal may be seeking admission in a top college, but you may fail a few times and waste a few months before you can actually succeed in doing it.You can record and present your long term plan in a variety of ways like grid form or continuous form. The method you choose may vary from individual to individual and may vary depending on the subject of the plan.Long-term plans can help you make your daily life decisions about your career and also your professional life. Long term planning also helps you stay focused and on track. It helps you determine the steps you need to follow and achieve your desired goals by preparing a particular timetable. Long-term plans can help you achieve your professional, educational as well as personal goals. It can also help you achieve financial stability and security. Ultimately, long or short, it all boils down to the efficacy of that plan.

There are many situations regarding education in our lives where we get stuck at times. And it is very important that we realise the importance and impacts of every situation and choice we have and make certain decisions in a wise manner. Here, we will be focussing upon the importance, future prospects and the advantage of doing an MBA.

To discuss further upon this, we need to know what an MBA actually stands for. The Master of Business Administration is a master's degree in business administration and business management which covers a scientific approach to management. The main areas covered under an MBA program are basically accounting, finance, marketing, human resources and operations in a manner which are most relevant to management analysis and strategy.

And so we may proceed further as we now have a basic idea about what an MBA is. The simple question which arises is, how will an MBA benefit our career as well as our lives?
Established MBA courses offered by various business schools help in preparing students to undertake senior management roles and responsibilities in the business environment. And this task is achieved effectively by giving a proper exposure to the aspirants regarding all areas of business including accounting, finance, marketing, and human resources. Unlike many other Master’s Degree programmes which provide us with further specialization in a specific field of study, an MBA draws principles from various fields of psychology, sociology, economics, accounting and finance.

Pursuing an MBA course from some of the best colleges in India, increases the aspects of a good impact on the salary later on. And someone who did pursue one, is likely to land a job with quite an impressing pay package. And therefore if it’s a matter of money and something everyone’s after, an MBA may well be worth striving for.

Many Indian Colleges like the IIM Bangalore, Faculty of Management Studies, and Xavier School of Management provide the course and the proper kind of b-school exposure and environment. Apart from expanding our horizons by exposing us to successful leaders. As we very well know the expanding amount of successful management honchos who love to visit business schools and give guest lectures. These lectures, in a way, are a great and very essential way for us in gathering to insights and useful advices from people who matter in the business world, who’ve already done what you want to pursue in future. It is also the advantage of putting up questions directly.

And coming back to the area of experts, we have a great opportunity to build a good rapport and a relationship with our professors, which play a major role in guiding us in our career quest, because, as they get to us with time and experience, they can offer some very vital suggestions and points which might help in some way or the other in our career.Though a degree from, say, IIM Bangalore may be something to boast about. But one must remember, that this sole degree certification in your resume does not guarantee you a job.

Nor should we be expecting an automatic salary increase or promotion on such grounds. It is hard work after all, which pays in the end, and a prestigious degree like an MBA adds up to the efforts, if any.
